STEP BY STEP / JAVGER FINANCE

Where would you like to start?

Open a heading and follow the steps. Search works only in this guide; it does not access your account.

20 guides shown

01Getting startedCurrency and your first accountComplete the basic setup for a new Javger account.
  1. After registration and verification, select your currency on the currency screen and choose Continue.
  2. On Create Your Account, select Cash, Bank or Card and enter an account name of up to 10 characters.
  3. Check the opening balance. Leave it at 0 to start with no balance; an account name is required.
  4. Choose Continue and wait for the account to be saved. You can close the Pro offer if you do not want to purchase.

Important Selecting Bank does not connect to your bank. Recording the opening balance again as income would count the same money twice.

02Getting startedManage balances and accountsUnderstand your total balance and organise your tracking accounts.
  1. On Summary, review Total Balance, Monthly Income and Monthly Expenses. The monthly net is not the same as your total balance.
  2. Open Your Accounts to see all accounts. Use Add Account to set a name, type and opening balance.
  3. Open an account and use its three-dot menu to change the name or type. Use the star to choose your favourite account.
  4. Open Unassigned Balance to review transactions not linked to an account, then edit a transaction to assign it.

Important Deleting a tracking account does not delete its transactions; it removes their account link. The deleted account's opening balance is removed from the total.

03Everyday recordsRecord income or an expenseCheck the amount and its effect on your balance before saving.
  1. Tap the central + button in the bottom menu and select Income or Expense.
  2. Enter the amount and category. Use All to see more categories or Other to enter a custom category name.
  3. Check the account, date and optional note. Include in balance determines whether the record affects calculations or is kept as a record only.
  4. Choose Save income or Save expense, then confirm that the record appears in Transactions.

Important With Unassigned Balance selected, the transaction is not linked to a specific account. After a connection error, check the list before assuming it was saved.

04Everyday recordsFind, edit and archive transactionsUse the list controls to find a missing record or change an existing one.
  1. In Transactions, search by category or note. Check All, Income or Expense and the filter next to search.
  2. Use Show More for older records. Check whether the Archive selection matches the record you need.
  3. Tap a transaction to open editing, review your changes and save.
  4. Swipe left to see edit and delete actions; swipe right to review balance-inclusion and archive actions.

Important Archiving, deleting and excluding from balance are different actions. An archived record may remain in account balances while being excluded from period reports. Deletion cannot be undone.

05Everyday recordsRecord a transfer between accountsUpdate the source and destination balances together within Javger.
  1. Open Accounts through Summary → Your Accounts, then choose Transfer.
  2. Select the source and destination. Unassigned Balance may also be available as a source.
  3. Check the amount and date. Source and destination must differ, and the amount must not exceed the source balance.
  4. Choose Transfer, then check the balances and Transfer records in Transactions.

Important This does not send money through a bank. It creates an outgoing and incoming record in Javger, without increasing total balance or income/expense statistics.

06Everyday recordsScan a receipt and save the resultCheck the extracted information before adding it to your records.
  1. Open Transactions → Scan. Each scan uses 50 credits and does not require Pro; check your balance.
  2. Scan with the camera or choose an image. Conceal unnecessary personal details and review the AI data-sharing notice before deciding whether to allow processing.
  3. Compare the type, total, category, date, account and items with the document; correct anything necessary.
  4. Review photo-storage and separate-item options, then save. Completed scans not yet saved can be reopened from drafts on the same device.

Important Camera scanning processes the first page. Local images may not return on another device. Choosing not to save a result does not automatically refund credits used.

07Everyday recordsStart a live Assistant conversationAsk about your own records and independently verify important conclusions.
  1. Tap the Assistant logo on any of the four main tabs. Pro members enter chat; other users see the introduction.
  2. Check that Pro is active and that you have credits; each message uses 5 credits.
  3. On first use, review the data-sharing notice. If you allow processing, enter and send a question with a clear period and topic.
  4. Compare the answer with your records. Use the new-conversation control for a fresh discussion or open Assistant's home for example questions.

Important No persistent chat history is created. With your permission, messages and relevant financial context are sent to the AI provider. Do not share passwords; responses are not investment advice.

08PlanningMonthly budget limitsCompare monthly income and spending in each category with its limit.
  1. With active Pro, open + → Budget from the bottom menu.
  2. Select Income or Expense, a category and a monthly limit, then save.
  3. Open Transactions → Budget to review Income limits and Expense limits.
  4. Use the relevant card's three-dot menu to edit or delete a limit.

Important Creating a budget does not set money aside or change balances. Edit an existing budget instead of creating another for the same category.

09PlanningSet up recurring transactionsChoose a schedule and next date for regular income or expenses.
  1. With active Pro, open + → Recurring.
  2. Set the type, category, amount and account; choose a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly frequency.
  3. Check the start date and save. Review the next transaction date under Transactions → Recurring.
  4. Use the three-dot menu to edit or stop the definition. Check the next-run date shown when editing.

Important A recurring record is not a bank payment instruction. Due records are created when the app processes your data; deleting a definition does not delete past transactions.

10PlanningCreate a savings goal and contributeSet a target amount and track the savings you allocate to it.
  1. With active Pro, open + → Goal and set its name, icon and target amount.
  2. Optionally add a target date, review the details and save.
  3. Under Transactions → Goals, open Add Money for the relevant goal.
  4. Select the contribution amount and source account, review the balance effect and add it.

Important A contribution creates a Savings expense, reducing the source and total balance. Deleting a goal does not delete past contributions or automatically return money to the account.

11PlanningDebts, receivables and paymentsTrack amounts you owe separately from amounts others owe you.
  1. With active Pro, open Debt / Receivable from the + menu and choose the correct type.
  2. Enter the person, amount and optional due date, then save. This initial definition does not change balances.
  3. Find the record under Transactions → Debts and choose Add Payment when a payment or collection has occurred.
  4. Check the amount and account, choose Save Payment, then review the remaining amount and open/closed status.

Important Debt payments create expenses; receivable collections create income. Marking a record as closed is not a payment record, and Javger does not transfer real money.

12PlanningReview dates and due itemsUse the free calendar to follow transaction dates and upcoming due items.
  1. Open Calendar from Transactions; Pro is not required.
  2. Use the upper arrows to change the month and tap the day you want to inspect.
  3. Review the daily income/expense totals, records and upcoming due items shown below.
  4. Use All, Income or Expense to filter the view, and tap a transaction to edit it.

Important A due date in the calendar does not confirm that payment occurred. Archived records are excluded. Transfers may appear in the selected day's transaction list and totals, but do not contribute to the income/expense markers in calendar cells.

13PlanningUnderstand the month-end forecastReview which records contribute to the projected balance.
  1. With active Pro, open Transactions → Forecast.
  2. Compare the projected month-end balance with the income, expense and spending components in the breakdown.
  3. Open How is this forecast calculated? and review the method.
  4. Check for missing income, expenses or recurring records, then reassess the forecast after updating your data.

Important The forecast does not guarantee earnings or a balance. Without past expenses, projected additional spending may be zero; that does not mean you will spend nothing.

14Pro and reportsRead your period reportsCompare income, expenses and categories over a consistent period.
  1. With active Pro, open Report in the bottom menu.
  2. Select This Month, 3 Months, 6 Months or Custom. Check the start and end dates for a custom range.
  3. Review the period net and totals, then select income or expenses in the category breakdown.
  4. Tap a chart segment to see its category amount and percentage, and review changes in Trend.

Important Period net means income minus expenses, not your current total balance. Transfers, archived records and records excluded from balance are omitted from period income/expense analysis.

15Pro and reportsExport PDF or CSV recordsCreate a copy of your financial records and save it to a destination you choose.
  1. With active Pro, open Profile → Preferences → Export.
  2. Choose Export CSV or Export PDF and wait for the file to be prepared.
  3. Select a destination or recipient app in the iOS share sheet.
  4. Check the file contents and recipient before sharing; after an error, verify that a file was actually created.

Important Exporting is not a backup-restore process. Statements exclude transfers, archived records and records excluded from balance; deleting your account does not automatically delete external copies.

16Pro and reportsPurchase Pro or creditsChoose between feature access and usage credits with their different purposes in mind.
  1. Open Details on the Pro card in Profile and review the plan's period, price and credits.
  2. Select a Pro plan and continue with the purchase button; check payment and renewal terms in Apple's confirmation screen.
  3. For credits only, open Profile → Buy credits, select a pack and choose Buy credits.
  4. After completing the Apple flow, check the active plan and credit balance in Profile.

Important Pro and credits are different; a credit pack does not itself provide Pro. Weekly Pro includes 100 period credits, monthly 500 and yearly 3,650. Apple's screen shows the applicable price; TestFlight purchases are for testing.

17Pro and reportsRestore purchasesCheck entitlements before paying again when a purchase has not appeared.
  1. Make sure you use the Apple Account used for the purchase and its associated Javger account.
  2. Open Profile → My Account → Restore Purchases. Complete Apple's sign-in prompt there if it appears.
  3. Review the result and Pro status in Profile. If the purchase is linked to another account, sign in to the associated Javger account.
  4. If the problem continues, review the support draft in Recover my subscription. After consenting to share it, copy it or send it through your email app.

Important Restoring is not a new purchase and does not return spent credits or grant the same transaction twice. The support draft is not automatically sent and does not itself transfer a subscription.

18Account and securityApp PIN and device authenticationSet up an app lock separate from your account password.
  1. To create a new lock with active Pro, open Profile → Preferences → Security.
  2. Choose Create PIN, enter your six-digit PIN twice and complete saving.
  3. Complete iOS device-owner authentication when requested. Changing or removing a PIN also requires authentication.
  4. If you forget the PIN, use device-owner authentication on the lock screen; iOS presents an available method.

Important The PIN is a local app lock, not your account password. An existing lock continues after Pro expires. Manage notification and widget visibility separately in iOS settings.

19Account and securityManage your profile and permissionsUpdate personal details and visibility preferences in their respective settings.
  1. In Profile → My Account, tap the pencil next to your name. Edit the name or use the photo options to replace or remove the image.
  2. Use the pencil next to Email or Password and complete the verification steps shown.
  3. Open Language, Appearance or Notifications under Profile → Preferences to adjust your choices.
  4. Open the data-sharing information in Assistant or Scan to review that feature's AI permission; use Revoke permission if you wish.

Important Profile photos are optional and may be accessed by someone with their link. Revoking AI permission does not undo earlier submissions. Do not send passwords, PINs or verification codes to support.

20Account and securityPermanently delete your Javger accountAccount deletion, sign-out and subscription cancellation are different actions.
  1. Preserve any records and documents you need before deleting. Review your remaining subscription and credits.
  2. If you want to end an active Apple subscription, cancel it separately through iPhone Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions.
  3. In Javger, open Profile → My Account → Delete Account, read the warnings, confirm and wait for the result.
  4. If deletion does not complete or you cannot access the account, request help at support@javgerfinance.com; do not send passwords or verification codes.

Important Deletion cannot be undone. Limited security and purchase-verification records may remain; exported copies and copies on other devices are not automatically deleted. Signing out does not delete your account.
