Learn how to delete your account, which data is removed and which records may be retained on a limited basis.
Delete from within the app
Sign in to your Javger account. Open Profile → My Account → Delete Account, read the warning and confirm deletion. This is not simply signing out: it permanently removes the account and related financial records. Export any records you need before continuing.
A network or service error can prevent the app from confirming completion. In that case, do not assume deletion succeeded; try again or contact support. Deleting your account does not cancel your Apple subscription.
If you cannot access the app
Email support@javgerfinance.com with the subject “Javger Finance — Account Deletion”. Send the request from your registered email address where possible; identify the account and explain that you cannot access the app.
Appropriate account-ownership verification may be needed to prevent deletion of another person’s account. Do not send passwords, app PINs, one-time verification codes or full card numbers. We assess your request and communicate the outcome, including any part that cannot be fulfilled, under applicable law.
Data that is deleted
On the server: the user account and profile, and related app records such as accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, debts/receivables, recurring records and the associated credit balance. Uploaded profile photos and receipt files uploaded by older versions that belong to the account are also included in the deletion process.
On the device used for deletion: once server deletion is confirmed, local receipts, scan drafts, related caches and permission/account settings belonging to that account are cleaned up. If cleanup is interrupted, the app retries on its next launch. This does not delete data belonging to other Javger accounts.
Records that may be retained on a limited basis
Transaction/product and account identifiers that prevent a purchase from being granted again to another account, failed credit-grant attempts and limited usage/security records may be retained as needed to prevent fraud, handle disputes or meet legal obligations. A one-way digest of the email address may also be kept to prevent repeated starter-credit grants. These records do not mean the user account remains active or that chat history is retained.
Retention needs depend on the record type and purpose; retention is intended to be limited to what is necessary. You can separately request access, deletion or information about a retention basis. Providers’ independent legal/security records and backups may follow their own applicable retention cycles.
Other devices, files and AI
Copies you export to Files, Photos, email or other locations, and local copies on other devices, are not automatically deleted remotely. Remove those copies at their locations. Legacy local files whose account owner cannot be established safely may have been isolated to prevent access by another account; account deletion does not delete them as if they belonged to the wrong person. Removing app data on that device or support assistance may be necessary.
The current app does not create persistent Assistant chat history. Provider retention terms still apply to AI requests previously sent with your permission; deleting an account does not guarantee their simultaneous deletion. Data flows and the Anthropic retention link are included in the Privacy Policy.
Manage your subscription separately
To cancel an Apple subscription, use iPhone Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions → Javger Finance. Uninstalling the app, signing out or deleting your Javger account does not stop automatic renewal. A deleted account’s subscription or credit balance is not automatically transferred to a new account. If you have questions about a remaining balance, contact support before deleting.
